Mexico Tour 2

Day 01 – MEXICO CITY – ARRIVAL TRANSFER

Reception at the International Airport of Mexico City “Benito Juárez”, transfer to the hotel of your choice. Free time. Accommodation.

Day 02 – MEXICO CITY – CITY TOUR

In the morning we will start the tour of Mexico City knowing the National Palace, where (if the authorities allow access) we will be able to appreciate the beautiful murals by the great Mexican artist Diego Rivera; the Plaza de la Constitución or Zócalo and the Metropolitan Cathedral, as well as the main avenues, such as Paseo de la Reforma where you can appreciate various monuments such as the Angel of Independence and Diana the Huntress. Later we will visit the Bosque de Chapultepec and one of the most important residential areas of the city. Back to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 03 – BASÍLICA DE GUADALUPE – PYRAMIDS OF TEOTIHUACAN

We will begin our tour visiting the Plaza de las Tres Culturas in Tlatelolco and the Calzada de Guadalupe until we reach the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patron Saint of America, where we will visit the Basilicas: ancient and modern, the Tepeyac hill, the Pocito chapel. and de las Rosas, among others. Continuation to the archaeological zone of Teotihuacán (city of the Gods) where we admire the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, the temple of Quetzalcóatl, the Calzada de los Muertos, among others. Time for lunch (not included). Back to the hotel.

Day 04 – MEXICO CITY – QUERÉTARO – SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE

Presentation in the lobby of your hotel and meeting with our guide to join the circuit. Departure towards Querétaro, a city named World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Visit of: the Aqueduct, the Ex-Convent of the Cross and the Historic Center. Transfer to San Miguel de Allende, place of residence for artists and intellectuals and famous for its buildings ranging from Baroque to Neo-Gothic, among which the impressive Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel stands out, symbol of the city. Also noteworthy as points of interest: the Chapel of the Holy House, the Convent of the Conception, the Church of San Francisco and the Allende Institute House. Free afternoon to get to know this peaceful city, walking through its streets and visiting one of its typical cafes. Accommodation.

Day 05 – SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE – DOLORES HIDALGO – GUANAJUATO

Departure to Dolores Hidalgo, where in 1810 the priest Don Miguel Hidalgo gave the famous cry that marked the beginning of the Mexican Independence movement and the birthplace of one of the most renowned composers worldwide: José Alfredo Jiménez. Continuation to Guanajuato, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and headquarters of the International Cervantino Festival. Tour of the main streets of this beautiful city, which offers such interesting places as: the Alhóndiga de Granaditas, the Juárez Theater, the La Valenciana Mine, the University, the House-Museum of the muralist Diego Rivera, among others. Optionally, you can enjoy the traditional “Callejoneada”, a walking tour through old streets, squares and alleys -such as the famous Callejón del Beso- accompanied by the music of the best student women in Guanajuato. Day 06 – GUANAJUATO – MEXICO CITY

Free time until the scheduled time to transfer to the Guanajuato Bus Terminal to take the bus to Mexico City. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 07 – Departure

Today after breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to the airport to catch the flight for onward connection.
